U4GM Diablo 4 Guide to Faster Mythic Crafting
You know that feeling when a Helltide clock is bleeding away, your bags are full of scraps, and the one material you need refuses to show up? Season 14 turns that irritation into a routing problem. Pandemonium Fragments feed the Horadric Cube's Mythic Unique recipe, and a solid Diablo IV Items setup keeps your Rift clear from falling apart when elites stack on top of you. This isn't passive farming. You move, kill, open, and leave before a dead zone steals ten minutes.

Where the Fragments Actually Come From

Pandemonium Rifts show up often inside Helltides, especially where several event points sit close together. They can also roll as affixes in Nightmare Dungeons. At a Rift, kill the guardians around the Death's Head Idols first. That opens the full Rupture. Then close Rift Tears while dense monster waves keep pouring in. Higher Torment means rougher fights, but the reward quality climbs with it.

Start in the Helltide section with the most nearby Rift activity.
Clear the Death's Head Idol guardians before chasing side events.
Take Corrupted Reapers when they appear, since each can drop up to 2 fragments after the patch buffs.
Use War Plans to chain Rifts into nearby Lair Boss runs instead of riding across the map.

The Route Most Players Botch

On paper, Rift farming seems simple: enter a Helltide, smash whatever appears, and fragments will pile up. Fair enough. The usual mistake is treating every event as equal, then spending half the session on low-density areas or random boss attempts with no route behind them. People also crack open Glints of Hope caches too early, when their Torment level can't pull the better rewards.

Run the loop in a stricter order. Find the packed Helltide pocket, finish any active Rift there, then check for a Corrupted Reaper before moving on. If your War Plan connects that area to a Superior Lair Key run, take it. Deathtoll Chambers give better guaranteed rewards in Torment 10+, so that's the point where the detour earns its time. Don't wander for one extra event. Close the Tears, collect, rotate.

Rifts Beat Blind Boss Spam

Random Lair Boss runs can still pay out, but they're a gamble when fragments are the target. Rifts give you frequent combat, predictable objectives, and a reason to stay inside an active Helltide. The better long-term play is mixing both. Use Rifts as the steady fragment engine, then slot in Deathtoll Chambers when you have a Superior Lair Key and Torment 10+ is comfortable. Save Glints of Hope for that same higher-Torment stretch. The Cube only asks for 4 fragments now, so strong Uniques are much easier to turn into Mythic candidates.

Three Checks Before You Queue Up

Do you need more boss attempts, or do you need fragments right now? If it's fragments, first pick an AoE build with real movement, then map a Helltide-to-Lair loop, then hold your caches. A quick look at cheap Diablo IV Items can cover a missing slot, but don't let gear shopping replace the route. Get into the Rift, clear the Idols, and keep moving.
