Dewberry Boo is a delightful gift shop located in Billericay, Essex, specialising in personalised gifts that bring joy to every occasion. Established in 2013 by a dedicated mother and daughter duo, we began our journey in a small shop in Barleylands, where countless hours were spent turning creative ideas into reality.
As the business grew, so did our team. In the summer of 2014, Denise joined us, quickly becoming a cherished asset with her helpful and patient nature, as praised by our many loyal customers. While Denise provided excellent customer service, I focused on expanding our diverse range of giftware. By February 2015, our small shop had outgrown its space, prompting us to move to one of the largest shops in Barleylands, where we continue to thrive today.
In December 2017, Denise’s daughter Katie joined the family business, allowing Denise to shift her focus from customer service to assisting with painting and adding the finishing touches to our products. Katie now manages our social media presence, engaging our community and running fun online competitions. My Mum, Barb, also plays an integral role, lovingly painting items from home.
