NEET-PG Cut-Off PIL: Supreme Court Issues Notice | Harisharan Devgan

The Hon’ble Supreme Court has issued a notice on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) challenging the reduction in the qualifying percentile for NEET-PG 2025–26 counselling. The matter is set to be heard before a Constitution Bench, marking a significant step in the legal process.

The PIL has been filed by Dr. Harisharan Devgan along with co-petitioners and is being represented by Senior Advocate Sonia Mathur, assisted by Advocates Satyam Singh Rajput, Adarsh Singh, and AoR Neema.

This case raises important questions about medical education standards, fairness, and the future of postgraduate medical admissions in India. We **** the Court’s notice and place our complete faith in the judiciary, trusting that a fair and balanced judgment will prevail.
