BioWare is making some very important changes to the SWTOR Guild Conquest system. In the upcoming update, before new members start contributing their conquest points, there will be a delay in joining the guild, and the guild will be punished by removing a player from its ranks! All of these will appear in the near future!

An update was made on January 17, providing more information about the origin of the incident and how the community investigates before arranging most of the tickets submitted to customer support. SWTOR system designer David Staats revealed on the forum that as part of future updates, the SWTOR Guild Conquest system will undergo many changes.

Without messing up the Conquest system, games rarely survive more than two patches. This time there are good reasons, and judging by the reaction below David’s post, I want to say that the community is enthusiastic about it. The actions that BioWare is taking are divided into three, namely the guild’s actions on the conquering front-inviting new members, kicking existing members, and rewarding the guild for SWTOR Gold.

Currently, when players join the guild, they will immediately begin to use their personal conquest gains to contribute to the guild’s swtor credits (swtor credits). The new system will introduce a grace period, after which newly accepted characters can start earning points for their new guild. This change will only affect the guild conquest points and rewards brought by the character, and will not affect the individual conquest points and rewards. Their contribution will be calculated from the next conquest.

"When a new character views the "Guild Invasion" screen, they will see a message indicating that they cannot currently contribute to the new guild’s conquest score and must wait until the next conquest event occurs. The page will show the new guild that cannot be granted Role so that guild leaders can better understand who cannot actively contribute."

This new rule only applies to every character. If you have other alternatives in other guilds, they will not be affected. Only roles that switch or join the guild can pass the grace period. If you bring your own substitute into the same guild, then the substitute will also have to go through a grace period, but there is only one new substitute.
