Some cosplayers make statements with their cosplay. CCosplay "Crossplay" is a time period used to describe a cosplayer who attire up as a man or woman of a one of a kind gender.
"Many female cosplayers locate the act of dressing and embodying a male individual empowering," Theresa Winge, a professor at Michigan State, told CNN. Captain America Costume "Male characters regularly include opportunities to put on clothing not afforded to many woman characters, now not to say the guns."
