The pandemic has generated quite a few games during the last year or two to have pushed back. While Face of the Franchise could use some help, the franchise mode is always the one at the middle of controversy once the game's network is angry. Like the prior game style, it does not have to be rebuilt from the ground up. What it does require is some quality of life updates so as to earn the initiation of the new game effective. It might help if EA paid the same kind of attention to reality that MLB The Display will using its franchise style. The Display does not do anything particularly flashy, but the sport mode functions as though they really are running a significant league front office.

The Madden NFL series was similar in feel with its franchise style. In fact, it was so great it really birthed a whole other sport which allowed people to feel as if they were the head coach and general manager.
