New content is coming with this Animal Crossing May update 2021, the latest addition to the ever-popular life-sim. This change comes after a recent event in which players were allowed to make Island Tour Posters and Trailers. Nintendo just revealed this on their dedicated Animal Crossing Twitter account, and as summer approaches, there will be plenty of exciting content to look forward to in May and June 2021.

May 2021 Update for Animal Crossing: New Leaf
May day returns in this update, and it seems to be close to last year in that there will be a special ticket to a curated island that you can explore, but we'll find out soon if anything has changed. May Day falls on the 29th of April and lasts until the 7th of May.

From May 18 to May 31, players can participate in a stamp rally as part of the International Museum Day celebrations. Blathers appears to be handing out stamp cards to players, who will then be able to visit the museum and see exhibits while collecting stamps for their cards.

The Season of Weddings
The first anniversary of Reese and Cyrus' wedding will be celebrated during the Wedding Season, which will run from June 1 to June 30. Players will be able to decorate the venue and take pictures. This thing is coming back, and it's been revealed that it will become an annual tradition in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons universe. Furniture and fashion pieces inspired by the wedding season will be available for purchase at Nook Shopping and Able Sisters.

Other seasonal products, such as Mother's Day and Cheese Rolling, will be available, with more to be revealed.
